We offer a large and diverse selection of frames and independent eyewear brands, as well as an on-site laboratory so we can ensure efficient service as well as improved quality control. If you aren’t sure what frames or lenses are the right choices for your lifestyle, we are happy to help you with an expert frame and lens consultation.
Over time, frames may require adjustments, and we are pleased to provide adjustments and repairs so you can get the most out of your frames and lenses.

Meet the talented team of Premier Eye Care!
Dr. John M Porter, O.D.
Dr. Porter grew up in Zanesville, OH, and knew from a young age that he wanted to be an optometrist. He graduated from Ohio State University with a BS in Zoology/Pre-optometry and went on to obtain his Doctorate in Optometry (OD) from the Ohio State University College of Optometry in 1995.
After an internship at the Chillicothe VAMC, he went to practice at the Bloomberg Eye Center located in Newark, OH, where he gained extensive experience in medical eye care and surgical co-management. In 1999, he founded his practice, Eldercare Vision Services, serving the eye care needs of residents of dozens of local nursing and assisted living centers in northeast Ohio, which he still owns and operates to this day.
In 2007, he opened Premier Eye Care to serve the residents of North Royalton and surrounding communities.
